Just added Elmer Verburg Oscillating Cylinder to my collection

This is Elmer Verburg's wobble plate #14 This makes 21 engines in my collection. They are posted under Engines from Leavenworth. It is mounted on a pice of hedge wood. Hedge is used for fence post in this part of the contry.

Here is my Husky-Zee 2000. It takes a lot of air to run this engine.

Here is my latest lathe. A SB 10L with a single leaver on quick change. The other lathes are on page 1 reply 11 This is no.11 in the collection

This engine was made form parts from a sewing machine and a John Deere tractor. The John Deere parts are the cylinder and piston. They came form the camshaft follower and its housing. The crank shaft,rod,flywheel, valve rod and connector are from a sewing machine.

I have started on the #7. It is a lot of work. The block has 43 holes in it and 32 are threaded. No. 9 would be a lot less work.

I run my eng on air. No video as I am on dial-up. There was no problem as the plans are great.

Rodbuilder here is a 9 that I have built. Other eng are posted in the pic section. Look for Eng form Leavenworth.

I have posted three more eng from Elmers book. The wife bought me his book for my birthday.

Here is an old gas eng. of mine. It is 1 1/2 HP Its weight is 450 lb. It is has a water jacket . A hit and miss engine will have a valve held open till it slows down and then it will fire.
