I'm about 90% done at the moment and don't have the numbers crunched yet but I'm figuring it will be in the $400 range. The print bed is 8.875" square with a z axis of about 4". I haven't loaded the firmware and run the motors yet to test the actual extruder extents, but I'm guessing 7.5" - 8"...
Stan, I'm building a RepRap. reprap.org And although the little wobbler will probably be printed ::) the main idea is to use it to print patterns for sand-casting. Much easier than working with dead trees. ;D

It's Phils design and was first published in HSM. The Village Press 'Shop Wisdom' books are just compilations of the HSM articles.
Phils 6-cycle, like all of his engines, is an amazing design. Well worth the price of the books.

I usually scan printed plans into pdf's on my shop computer. Much harder to lose or get all oily, plus the zoom feature really helps my poor old eyes. ;D
