Bob shores used to send a tap and die wall chart with each order...I put it on the wall twenty years ago... no broken taps down to 00-90;) I slip the tap shank loosly in a ER chuck in the mill and have at it.

Just be sure your replacement tank is recently pressure rated and in good shape...they can make a hell of a mess of everything ,and everyone in the area when they come apart.

I normally hide the gas tanks inside the frame somewhere such as these Shores engines...
