Gail, No worries about when you can post some sketches. I'm not started building the engine yet. Yes, I am able to open CAD drawings. Thanks, Davy.

    MAN little dragon

Hi Gail, Thanks for the reply and the idea to make the needle valve myself. I found an article on the M.A.N. website on how to make them, very interesting. Do you know about what size the needle / assembly roughly should be? I'm not looking to fly the engine, I'm more the guy who just makes...

    MAN little dragon

Good morning, A while ago, I found a set of plans for the little dragon (I think here on the website). I want to make the 2-stroke, glow plug, 0.06 cu. in. ittle ragon. It seems rather straightforward to build. I only have one question: it does not use a carburettor, but refers to the Baby...

I have ordered two sets of plans this year. After my payment, I saw I accidently gave a wrong postal address. I send them an email and everything was delivered correctly within two weeks. I live in Belgium.

    Elmer's nr 15 - fancy

Thank you for the replies. It's always nice to hear some kind words (the lady doesn't like my new hobby very much). I'm looking for a second project now, something not too difficult, but just a little set up. Is it better to stick with some wobbler at the moment or should I go for a steam...

    Elmer's nr 15 - fancy

Hello, Hereby I present my first engine, my version of Elmer's Fancy. It is my first engine and it's been a very humbling lesson to me. I've had to machine almost every part twice, but it's a good lesson to take small steps and not to think "this can't be difficult" (youtube makes it seem a...

    BV20 latche belts size

Good evening, As I inherited my fathers lathe, a belt-driven model BV-20 from Chinese production, I saw there were a lot of parts lost. I've found some specs on the internet with the belt lengths, I ordered them, but it seems a couplle of them are too short (or I'm too weak). Could someone...

    Hello from Belgium

Thanks for the welcome and the usefull tips. I'm really looking forward to start off with a small project. I really like the idea of starting with a vertical slide. Nice link to the "minilathe" site too. Thanks a lot for this hint! At the moment I still need to source some tools to use on...

    Hello from Belgium

Good morning all, My father used to make steam engines years ago. He had a small lathe in the garage, but nobody has used it since he passed away 18 yrs ago. Last week I got the idea of making miniature engines in remembrance of him. And I must admit I am also very interested in making...
