Mostly finished model gas engine for sale.

Thanks, MrMetric, and thanks... You are correct... I neglected to add a location. Since I can't edit the original post. I'll respond here. The model is in Estes Park, Colorado, USA. I don't know of any drawings for it... If I had drawings, I'd probably be able to finish it. I'd have to...

Mostly finished model gas engine for sale.

OK... $400, & I'll cover half the shipping. I hate for it to just sit, but I won't go any lower than that. I have more pics, just ask. Thanks! Chris

Mostly finished model gas engine for sale.

I'm never going to get to finishing this, and I'm not good enough at pulling levers on my mill & lathe to do it justice anyway. I bought this from an antique engine FB page around 3 years ago. I was told it came from the estate of a model engine machinist, but I don't know that person's name...

    What's up with this?

As another data point... The forum is wonky on all 3 of my desktops. 1: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit with IE11, 2: Windows 7 Pro 32 bit with IE11, and 3: Windows 10 Pro 64bit with IE 11. Oh, and I can't see what I'm typing now,... It's off the screen... Chris

Brass: What alloy, and where to buy

Looks like I missed a few posts somehow... MachineTom: I'll start checking around for good prices on drops & the like. I'm thinking about future projects as well, I'm buying extra of everything This particular engine requires, along with other sizes I figure I'll need in the future. Being a...

Brass: What alloy, and where to buy

All done... Turns out Gary has an issue with the email on his web site, so he called me and I'm all set... I've got 4 flywheels on the way. I hope I don't screw 'em up! Chris

Brass: What alloy, and where to buy

I have scrounged flywheels off of NodicTrack skiers, a NordicTrack un-powered tread mill, and a couple exercise bikes, but they are all too big for this project. I do keep a look out for free or cheap stuff that may have flywheels. I'll order a few flywheels from Martin Model... They're...

Brass: What alloy, and where to buy

Between Speedy, McMaster, and Online Metals, Speedy had the best over-all pricing. Hobby Metal Kits had good pricing on a few of the things I'm after, but not enough to warrant separate shipping. Boy, prices sure add up quick when you don't have a lot of metal in stock to pull from! The...
