Thanks for the comment. The fuel tank is Aluminium. The round section is the bottom of an old fire extinguisher screw cut with a very fine thread into the upright which was a piece of billet from my offcuts that was probably from someone elses bin.

Did you manage to build the head and valveseats/guides to drawing spec? I had a world of trouble stopping leaks. The valve seats themselves were spot on but I found the guide/seat seal to the head itself wouldnt stop compression from simply bypassing the valve seat going round it rather than...
