Hoping to get some advice on what material I should make this model Diesel engine fuel tank out of. I have a resin printer but not really confident that the resin would hold up over time. Looking to machine one up. I wonder if anyone here has had experience with this. Thanks

Nice to be able to sit the 30cc Seal major engine in place. Getting a few things worked out in CAD as to the exhaust, fuel tank location, starter battery etc

Lots of evenings in the shop and good progress on the Hacker 1/6th scale I'm building for my 30cc Seal Major. 200+ Planks o_O , most off them needed steam. Happy that's done and now its off the build jig. Starting on the topside.

A little more progress on the 1/6th scale Miss APBA. for the Seal Major 30cc

Interesting design with the piston oil return. My Seal Major smokes more than I would like and this could be an easy solution without having to make another ring. Have you used this idea before? Thank you Terry, I'm learning lots.

Just starting on a boat build for the 30cc Seal major. Finally got all the CAD done apart from a rear hatch for the radio box. Busy cutting out bulkheads and building jig.

The CAD program I am using is Fusion 360 which is free to the hobbyist. I save to an STL file under the export tab. My 3D printer is a Prusa MK 3 and I use their slicer. I can 3D print as drawn so its worth spending some extra time to get things looking as close as possible. For production of...
