Lathe slide wobble

There is some confusion here. The saddle doesn't have gibs. It runs on the bedway. Moot point if you are happy with your lathe now.

Wrong The saddle on my Myford has whilst i.e. at the numbers 1 and no 4 shear my arguably more modern SiegC4 has gibs under the daddle against the prismatic shears.

Attached is part of the parts list for my lathe. Index # 1063 is the nonexistent saddle gib.

Moot that.

Being Chinese I reckon it's more likely they decided they could save money by not adding them.

What's the gib in the picture from?
