Ken the fuel lines are Tygon tubing. I have had a couple of busy days with other responsibilities but I did get some time today to work on the engine. Finished the box for the electronics. And installed the plug wires. What do you think? Thanks for looking Ray

Yes me too. I got the engine mounted on the base and added some rubber feet underneath. My hose clamps came in so I installed the fuel lines. Thanks for looking Ray

Nerd1000 like many of the things I try I have no idea if this will help or hinder but just trying something different. One of my sides on the wood base was 0.025 shorter than the opposite side and I was trying to think of a way to even it up when it struck me that it doesn't matter. Ray

I have been trying to make the original crank work with a center main bearing but every thing I try just makes it worse. Those pieces will go into the "Too good to throw away" bin and I will start over on a new crank shaft. The new crank will not have needle rod bearings as originally designed...

The intake valves are atmospheric so no cam is needed. They are opened by suction on the intake stroke of each cylinder. Ray
