    Rupnow-Johnno Vertical hit and miss

Well I have made a start. Last week I had a 115mm x 130 mm length aluminum round which took me about 2 and a bit hours to do 3 cuts on my little 6x4 horizontal band saw .This week I decided to bore out the interior of the crankcase .Having done very little boring before I thought I would start...

    Sanding file

Hi All. Just wondering if anybody has seen these made of metal. They are sold for wood work but work very well for light duty sanding /polishing on to metal lathe . Being plastic they are not much chop on metal and require a bit of sanding to flatten out the blade. Very quick to change emery...

    Used bronze bush

I just rescued six worn out flanged bronze bushes from being scrapped at work . They measure id 90mm od 110mm without the flange and width 15.5mm . Just wondering if they might be useful to make fly wheels or add weight to one as it would be a shame for them to just go to scrap.

My sc4 I received just before Christmas has started playing up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vM_kHyYAqd0 The problem sounds very mechanical but it all turns over very smoothly by hand. It is bring up ERR. error on the screen. This is an intermittent fault as other times it runs OK. I googled...

    My first engine

My little (ugly) wobbler, sort of half made to plans and materials I had on hand. It can run very slowly with a slight ticking noise except on the video where it sounds like it's going to blow up.It's sitting on a large tool chest.I am pretty pleased with my first effort and look forward to the...
